With deer that actually catch the hunter’s scent and extremely detailed natural settings complete with bushes, trees, streams, hills and prairies, Ultimate Deer Hunt for PlayStation game consoles offers unbelievable realism that other games just can’t match. Choose from seven large hunting areas, each with distinct terrain types, and nine different species of deer, including whitetail, blacktail, fallow, sitka, axis, sika, Coues and desert and Rocky Mountain muleys. Plus, there’s more than a dozen different non-game animals inhabiting the hunting areas. Deer closely mimic real-life animals, moving and reacting to sound and scent much like live animals. Choose your hunter and monitor their strength and well being with the health meter. Two modes of hunting (Mission and Quick) let you customize play. Watch day turn to night in the fully 3-D hunting environment.

Use actual Cabela’s gear, including camouflage, calls, scents, blinds, binoculars, ammunition and scopes. Hunt with rifle, shotgun, muzzleloader and compound or recurve bows. Plus, you can acquire specialty guns after successfully completing various levels of play. Drive ATVs and snowmobiles (where appropriate) throughout the hunting area. Trophy Beacon, infrared and nightvision, and X-ray option along with an in-game guide gives you valuable information when trying to locate a trophy and make a clean shot. Real-life rules apply, you’ll be disciplined for performing illegal or unethical hunting acts. A cabin-like trophy room offers statistics on each player’s kills. Difficulty levels to accommodate all players.
