It’s time to get Digi with it, as the latest installment from the mad, and massively popular, Japanese animated adventure franchise arrives on PS one. Young Digimon tamer Junior and his close friends Teddy and Ivy are in a bit of a pickle. After entering the new-fangled Matrix Chamber to play and battle their Digimon online, an accident happens, leaving the trio trapped in cyberspace! It’s up to you, playing as Junior, to embark on a quest to save your pals, scupper the sinister plot for world domination, and kick some serious Digi-arse!<\/p>\n

Digimon World 3 is a turn-based game, involving strategy and skill. When you encounter enemies to battle, you’ll fight one-on-one using a variety of commands, including: Fight, Technique, Tag, Item, Run, and of course, Digivolve. If you use digivolve, your beast can transform into a more powerful creature, and deliver a serious pummeling to your opponent. There are some variations on this style of combat, such as Blast, Battle and DNA Digivolve, with the latter allowing two Digimon to combine into one. Nice.<\/p>\n

It’s a Digi-revolution, and the kids will love it! With enough challenges to keep the younger audience involved, and plenty of action to amuse older gamers, Digimon World 3 is a worthy addition to the collection.<\/p>\n
